Hexa Wallet is a Bangalore-based Bitcoin product studio building self-custody tools that make securing bitcoin radically simpler for everyday users, while preserving the sovereignty principles that matter most.

Self-custody is the heart of Bitcoin, yet for most people it remains intimidating. That is precisely the wedge Hexa Wallet, the Bangalore-based product studio founded in 2015 by Anant Tapadia and Arpan Jain, has been chipping away at since long before self-custody became a marketing slogan. Their mission is captured in a single line that has aged remarkably well: the simplest way to secure bitcoin.

The team builds opinionated, design-led applications that strip away jargon without compromising on the security model. Today their work continues through Bitcoin Keeper, a mobile-first multisig and inheritance wallet, and Bitcoin Tribe, the consumer-facing experience evolved from the original Hexa Wallet. Together these products span the full spectrum of bitcoin holders, from first-time savers to multi-generational families thinking about how their coins outlive them.

Our thesis at Fulgur Ventures has always favored teams who treat bitcoin as a generational asset and self-custody as a non-negotiable. Hexa fits this mold precisely. They have spent years iterating on hardware integrations, recovery flows, and inheritance protocols in a market, India, where every point of friction has an outsized impact on adoption. That discipline produces products that travel well across geographies.

The opportunity is enormous. Hundreds of millions of new bitcoin holders will need wallets that are private, sovereign, and easy enough for a parent or sibling to use. Inheritance, in particular, is one of the great unsolved problems of the asset class. Hexa is building rigorously for that future, balancing UX and assumptions about user behavior with cryptographic robustness.

We have been partners with Anant, Arpan, and the broader Hexa team since 2020. Their craftsmanship and clarity of mission are a rare combination, and we are proud to keep backing them as they build the wallet stack that helps the next billion bitcoiners protect what is theirs.
